Williams-Sonoma Opens Largest PBteen Store in San Diego

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. WSM, a home furnishings retailer, recently opened its largest PBteen store in San Diego, CA. The new store is located at The Mall at University Town Center and offers furnishing products for teenagers.  

These include home furnishing products for the bedroom, study space, lounges and dorm room. The store opening will be supported by several marketing events. Customers will also have the opportunity to win gift cards with values ranging from $50-$250. One customer can even win a $500 gift card.

Williams-Sonoma is one of the largest e-commerce retailers in the U.S. The company offers exclusive designs for home furnishing products and enjoys a strong international presence. The company enjoys a competitive advantage owing to its multi-brand/multi-channel business model.

The successful launch of new products and stores is also contributing to its sales growth. The company has undertaken several initiatives to drive revenues in the near term. However, margins are likely to be hurt due to supply chain investments and inventory initiatives.
